A simple coding workflow that gets results

Take a feature from stories and requirements through three parallel plan reviews, implementation, agent testing, and your own acceptance—with a fresh subagent at each stage.

Claude CodeCodexWorkflows

A process your agent can follow.

This portable folder contains 11 documents: master agent instructions, simple user instructions, and 9 short stage files. The parent agent coordinates the work, hands each stage to a fresh subagent, and passes along the relevant context and review decisions.

The workflow covers user stories and requirements, an interactive mock when needed, alignment and corrections, planning, three parallel plan reviews, implementation, end-to-end testing, and user testing.

Review and corrections are included in Stage 1 (stories and requirements) and Stage 2 (the UI mock). Stage 6 uses three parallel adversarial reviewers to judge requirement coverage and simplicity. The agent tests the real implementation in Stage 8, then hands it to you for testing in Stage 9.

What's in the ZIP

START-HERE.md
The master instructions: how to orchestrate the workflow, delegate stages, and pass context.
stages/
9 short stage files, each linked back to the master instructions.
README.md
Simple user instructions: share the folder with your agent and include a brief feature description.

Unzip it. Give it to your agent.

  1. Unzip the download. Keep the folder in your codebase or alongside your project.
  2. Open your project in Claude Code or Codex with subagent support.
  3. Give your agent the prompt below, updating the folder location and describing what you want to build.
Read simple-coding-workflow/START-HERE.md and use this workflow to build: [briefly describe the feature, who it is for, and any important constraints].

You provide the project context and access to the tools needed for the work. The workflow respects your repository's rules and asks for missing details when they matter. No CTRL+SPC account is required.

Make the process your own.

A workflow should fit the change. Learn when a simple sequence of prompts is enough, how an orchestrated folder works, and how to manage workflows in CTRL+SPC.
